
Jené Jackson
Jené Jackson is a single mother of three, a singer, painter, actor, and amateur photographer. She grew up as a Nazarene pastor’s daughter and holds a B.A. in political science from Southern Nazarene University. Jené is active and embedded in the Colorado Springs arts community through many brilliant friends and has been Member Liaison for Pikes Peak Writers, on the board of directors for the Pikes Peak Arts Council, and a member of the Leadership Council for the Kennedy Center Imagination Celebration. She has sold advertising for the local alternative weekly newspaper, worked with the United States Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association, and is a freelance writer/editor. Jené is pursuing publication of works for children, as well as further Oat books.
